It is so satisfying to hear that Ed and LVG are giving nothing to journalists,going out and getting transfers done with no fuss.They actually know nothing this summer.

United also seem to be paying decent sums for players aswel,not paying way over the odds.

A CB and a striker and United are set for the season,DDG not leaving .

amazing the transformation, on paper, in the quality of the squad in the last 13 months. Woodward is delivering.

I still reckon he was partly to blame for the cluster fck of the first summer; but he clearly has learned how to work his business skills in the murky world of football - Woodward as good at getting deals done as he is get sponsors is a scary prospect for other clubs! Can't complain about this summer now. Right back and two centre mids - 3 key positions - sorted in time for the squad building trip to the states.

Clearly we need a CB and a forward player added - but I've absolutely no fear of us not getting deals done in those positions so I am chilled, now.

What a weekend from Woodward/United.

we have gone from cleverly,anderson in midfield to herrera,schweinsteiger and hopefully schneiderlin.
