    Noticed they've applied for PP for a craft brewery, interesting beer times ahead when you combine that with Weather spoons craft beers :)

    Full Development Description

    (A) A new ground floor brewery building (347m² area) to the south of the existing Old Schoolhouse Bar & Restaurant(Protected Structure), on the adjacent site. The development is not part of the original protected structure site. (B) The existing garden terrace is being remodelled as part of the roof of the new building creating partial enclosure with a retractable bespoke canopy roof. this area will be accessed by a rear staircase internally and have toilets off the terrace garden area (36m² area) at first floor level. It can also be accessed externally by the existing stone staircase along the edge of the external walls of the existing terrace areas. (C) This terrace garden (256m² area) at first floor level also incorporates the part of the brewery installation from the ground floor expressed through voids and also has a bar, stores and seating areas with planting. (D) New car parking (16 spaces) is provided off School Lane with a new vehicular entrance with 4 no. staff car parking and 1 no. disabled parking space. Alterations to the existing car parking layout with a new site entrance on Well Road providing 7 spaces with 1 no. disabled space. Access to the brewery building can be obtained directly at the rear of the Old Schoolhouse or from the altered existing car park. (E) The new brewery will have 12 barrel system (39 keg for 1 brew) producing a max of 1600 litres of craft beer per day. It is intended to sell the craft beer on site from the new brewery. (F) The existing pumping station will deal with the foul drainage on site. There is alteration to the existing site drainage to make new connections to the existing chamber. The separate surface water drains will connect to the existing which then discharges to the Ward River. SuDS measures are taken providing attenuation tanks before water discharges into the river. There is also a grease retention tank on site as part of this application. (G) Associated site works will include cutting back the rear rock face to create the pedestrian access to the brewery from the new car park, associated site works to include new north entrance from the patio areas to the brewery. Landscaping to include screen walls, permeable car parking surfaces, external seating and planting areas.
