Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ox imo. Theo wants to play up front and Ox deserves a chance to get a run in the team. I still don't see why Wenger would change up the strikers, Theo is playing well and Giroud is getting goals off the bench.

Can see Giroud benefitting rather than Ox. Giroud has earned a starting spot from his performances from the bench, Theo hasn't been scoring prolifically, and Ox hasn't earned a starting spot quite as much as Giroud.

Looks like trouble for Jagielka for those who might have been considering him.

Very bad news for Everton if it is something serious as they have very little cover since letting Alcaraz and Distin leave.

They signed some Argentinian centre back

Makes their defenders even less attractive now.

I had Jags in my wc team plans almost all week luckily dodged that bullet on Friday!

Jagielka, I brought him in for a hit last week, now out for 8 or 9 weeks: http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2015/10/26/team-news-norwich

Should be, don't think he was included in the squad last weekend, but would expect he'll be in the squad if not the team for next weekend

Micah Richards charged with improper conduct for an incident v Swansea, in the tunnel apparent.

Can he serve a ban for that or it just a fine?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Gabriel was banned for 1 game for improper conduct recently.

Coloccinis Red Card (rightly) overturned in the unlikely event anyone has him.

He's my 5th choice defender so not a big deal anyway, mainly because getting him out wasn't a priority. Might see who takes over from Sherwood in the meantime, there's a semi decent defence at villa if someone can get them organised.

Great news as it pisses Newcastle fans off even more over Sunday. :pac:

Ox and Walcott gone in 20 mins!

Makes Giroud an option to BUIB and Lukaku.

Anyone sent off last weekend likely serves their suspension tonight/tomorrow.

Mane will be rested for Saturday

That's exactly what I did but the way it's going I'm waiting for his replacement lukaku to get injured now.

Benteke out of league cup game and a doubt for weekend
Maybe I'll keep Begovic for another week if oirigi is upfront !

    Are you selling Begovic?
I'm just going to stick with him for Chelsea's good fixtures, can't be using transfers on keepers unless they're injured.

I really don't know at this stage
Chelsea are poison at the moment good fixtures or not
But I also have Elliot and don't know if I want to waste a transfer on a goalie
If Yaya was to get injured tomorrow night I'd certainly then get KDB in instead of a goalie........

I have 1 FT and will most likely do Costa--> Lukaku

I am contemplating a -4 to get the last remnants of Chelsea out as well with Begovic --> Anyone. my other keeper is McCarthy who won't play.

Way back when, I thought I was clever putting in Begovic as surely Mourinho will steady the boat and they'll get back to keeping cleanies :pac:

Now I just can't see them keeping a clean sheet if they parked 2 buses in the goals :(

They just need to replace Jose with a certain West Brom manager.

Ditto. If I'd just brought in Myhill, I'd be 16 points, and 0.3 or 0.4m better off.

Zab off on a stretcher, good for the Sagna owners.

Anything further on this ? Did it look precautionary or did he look goosed ?

Any updates on Zab? Long term injury?

Might regret spending the extra million on Kompany now. (Over Sagna)

Doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet but Coleman is a big doubt with a bug.

There I was thinking I had dodged the bullet in the late change of mind going with Coleman!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Zabaleta out for at least a month, per Dinnery.

He also says Coleman is "not very likely" to start and that Costa is a major doubt.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,747 ✭✭✭Ziegler1988

Zabaleta out until after next international break - 21st November.

Silva not in the squad tomorrow - still has “pain in his ankle”.

Tyias Browning I'd assume. Normally it'd probably be Tony Hibbert but he's just on the way back from a knee injury I believe.

Apparently Collins clattered him for a red which is why he came off 5 mins from end
