any1 recommend a mechanic for a camper van?

    Bought one recently and can't get it going. Have had a few mechanics tinker with it but can't seem to find the issue! its a 1982 ford transit>

    From what you say you just need a mechanic used to the older transits,not specifically for a camper,I presume yours is a diesel,if so there are still plenty of the old York ford engines around so the skill to repair them must still exist.If you have compression,fuel and a good battery it should try to start.Maybe give a few details of the problem.
