Gas boiler repair

    Hi All,

    Our condenser boiler, an Ideal Logic, exhibits the following problems:

    - A delayed ignition, producing several clicks before the flame indicator lights.
    - Sometimes it clicks away and doesn't ignite, the display then flashes a L2 message (ignition lockout as per the manual). A reset usually works at this stage.
    - On a low heat setting it tends to produce a loud bang sound at flame on, followed by a brief "glug-glug" bubbling sound (similar to water pouring out of gallon).

    It was last serviced in the winter by an RGI from our energy supplier, but I found that service quiet superficial and would like to have a professional inspect it.

    I'd like to have opinions on what could be the problem and possible estimates to repair it?

    Also, would anyone please recommend a knowledgeable RGI who covers the Sandyford/Leopardstown area?

    Thanks for your help.

    <ps/>
