Has anyone seen these sort of things in a bricks and mortar shop in Dublin?

Saw some folks with them last year, helped to keep hats on during the rapids.

Unfortunately this will not defend against Human wind, especially the "dutch oven" variety metered out by my enormous wife most nights while we sleep and trapped between the Duvet and the matress by her chubby arms

How about you go down to a local electrical supplier - the sort that sells all manner of goods to electricians - not the PowerCity type. They may/ should have 'crocodile clips' at reasonable cost. Join these together with a length of wire, string, thin rope and 'bobs your uncle'
