Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

About 4 of the worst shots I've seen in a tournament in 2 holes. Reminds me of VdeV.

Hopefully he starts to calm down.

This is intimidating for Dunne - hitting over the crowd, losing a hole already.. poor guy, I hope gets through it. The support he is getting may not be helping him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

On the green in 2 but a monster of a putt to come. Time for his caddy to work the magic and get him back calm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,340 ✭✭✭PropJoe10

Good recovery there. Fair play to him.

same rules for everyone, he's not getting any special treatment.

Don't think the comment relates to rules, more pace of play and playing with a hacker (no disrespect to Dunne) for the round

would you call Oost a hacker if he had a poor start, and complain about his ruining Dunne's chances?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 35,514 ✭✭✭✭efb

Poor guy. Hope he doesn't crumble

A hacker? The guy is in the final group at the Open championship. Cop yourself on.

Paul not enjoying this now. Like many first-timers in this position of course.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

If he can calm himself down hopefully he can get himself back into it. Mad to think in his previous 3 rounds he only hit a total of 2 bogeys and so far today hes equalled that in two holes. Hopefully his head won't drop and he can get a good run.

Painful not being able to watch it, in an hours time or so at least I'll be able to catch some of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 635 ✭✭✭MillField

Hopefully he can gain some composure before it's too late.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That's more like it from Paul. Hopefully settles down now and gets into winning the silver medal

He had a good drive there, hopefully he'll relax

Would he get to keep the claret jug :pac:

Patrick Harrington seems to be in the zone, rising to the occasion. I have to admit I'd like Garcia to win just because he has the innate talent and has let himself down too often.

One of the most exciting Opens I can remember in a while (probably a bit biased due to Pod and Dunne doing well)
