    Johnson on fire!

    Praise Jesus!

    Can I get an amen!

People argue Scott has an advantage with the extended putter but surely Johnson has the most unfair advantage with Jesus on his side! Rule change needed me thinks :pac:

This is like the TdF where the peloton of former champions catch up with the plucky breakaway...

But who will take the final maillot jaune?

Imagine if cycling was this interesting instead of a month of watching the pre-determined winner stroll around France unchallenged.

Jesus can go missing though - lots of prayers to answer and his selection process seems rather strange

Come on Dunne, 2 birdies in 3 holes and back to where he started on -12.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Can't wait until the leading pack reach the 17th, going to be a true test of nerves there!

Total anti-climax if ZJ does win this without a play-off

Speith looking ominous...Scott will set a target...

The back 9 is still to come. Anything could happen yet especially if the weather does continue to pick up.

Paul Azinger made the point that there will be a lot of wedges played today, nobody is better than Zach Johnson there. Please Lord, no.

Ah but come on, if you had the choice of curing world hunger or helping Zachary win the Open, which would you choose if you were JC?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Time to get home! 30-40 mins I'll be sitting back watching the action! Hopefully by the time I'm home Garcia, Harrington and Dunne are all tied for the lead :P a boy can dream

Mark James just gave a half-hearted apology for implying that Paul Dunne was British yesterday - the Indo made it out to be an international incident worthy of a debate in the UN!

Danny Willet went OB just as Dunne was about to hit his tee shot on 17.

"Let's hope there isn't anymore misery for the British Isle players here" or words to that effect.

I'm sure he was implying that for the GB&I players. Storm in a teacup.

God you guys just reminded me how bad the paper headlines will be if he wins with the play on "Done". :pac:

Thankfully we won't get a playoff with Dustin Johnson or we could have expected some awful headlines with "Done and Dusted"

Or as the BBC said yestersay "Oosty's Day is Dunne" :P

Hard luck for the birdie there

It is the ignorance to believe that everyone would be proud to be included as British.

I thought he just said British (without the isle).
If what you say is what he said, what a storm in a teacup!

When Dunne was on 17th tee he said something along the lines of "Pepperell went OB here earlier, Willett just went OB on 14. Let's hope we don't have another British OB."

Pretty innocuous. Mark James wrecks my head but I'll forgive him that.

Worst thing in this is I need to head out for my 3rd round club match in half an hour. Never saw a Monday finish a week ago. Thank god for Sky+. Will leave the phone at home and radio off.

Well that wouldn't be technically incorrect- Christ some people need to unbunch their panties

Paddy challenge is gone anyway. His first putt sounds like it was horrendous.

The little one got sick in creche today and I was in a meeting so couldn't go get her. The missus grabbed her and now I'm lamenting the fact that I didn't have a golden ticket to get out of work and watch the remainder of the golf! Zach Johnson and Adam Scott just tearing it up at the minute. Day, Oost and Speith not too far behind either. Should be a cracking finish.
