Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lovely shot from Harrington there :)

    Leishman level with Johnston now

After a lovely shot out of the bucker but it didn't easy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,858 ✭✭✭✭Loafing Oaf

that could be the shot that wins Leishman the Open

Or that putt the one that loses it?

    Wouldn't rule out Louis Louis

Alliss ruling out Day, Louis and Speith!!! WTF!?!

Garcia is so frustrating. If golf was a fist pumping and crowd pandering competition he would have a half dozen majors

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 320 ✭✭lostatsea

Someone on here called a winning score of -15 very early on. Looks like it will be spot on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Superb from Louis. Needs to get a putt to drop though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Oh Louis! Lovely chance to birdie after that approach on 15.

I don't get that either, AFAIK they just need a birdie to tie...

God love him. He has no idea what is going on. If Ken Browne wasn't laughing at his witticisms in the background, I think he would have hung up his boots a long time ago.

Ken Brown says one of these days Sergio will win a major. But we all know, including Sergio, that will never happen

Sergio looks fierce cheerful on the 18th

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Ah Louis misses by a whisker.

He'd have this wrapped up ages ago if he putted a bit better

Precisely - Sergio is a loser. He talked himself out of winning a major years ago.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend any Sergio fans. I love watching Sergio play since he won the Irish Open in 1999.

    Outrageous putt from Spieth.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Some putt by Leishman there.........hey Spieth - incredible putt. -15 now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam

Hard luck Leishman. Just a birdie needed down the last. I bet the fairway will look 20 yards wide. Spieth joins the leaders.

jaysus that putt by Spieth! unreal

  • Registered Users Posts: 777 ✭✭✭Pdoghue

Spieth is so special. It is almost like he can turn it on when he needs to. For his age, he has to be the greatest golfer ever.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,424 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

    Spieth? No chance!

Brilliant from Spieth. Very gutsy display.

Hope Jordan can do it now

Spieth - you'd fancy him to take a playoff - could even win it yet. the guy is class, no doubt.

All he needs is hypnotising into believing he is playing foursomes in the Ryder Cup

Got to fancy Spieth now. He really is a great player, and thank goodness, he seems a nice guy too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,807 ✭✭✭take everything

Spieth to win it I'd say

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,472 ✭✭✭stockdam
