Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Psycho Cop (1989) is one of the cheesiest, most poorly acted "horror" films of all time. But it is so hilarious because it is so bad. The premise is actually semi-interesting and semi-original. Instead of the slasher being a random knife wielding loon, it's actually the local police officer. Handled a bit better, this could have been a quite scary and pretty good horror. As it is, it is just one of those comedically bad yet good films.

Isn't that the same as Maniac Cop from a year earlier?

There was a film called Maniac Cop? :o

And just reading up on it, the only difference between the two is that in Psycho Cop, the eponymous insane police officer is not a mutant. In Maniac Cop, it is a mutant.

So much for my "semi-original" statement. :P

Why it's good; dancing zombies, and hillbilly music.

Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is a "so good, it's great" movie, tbf.

Really? Quite a few walked out of the screening I went to and I almost did too to be honest (maybe I was expecting too much).

But the laughs that I did have were belly laughs and so I stayed and endured, that's why I'd consider it a so bad, it's good film.

Another film I'd select on that basis would be 1993's..

Xtro:rubbish British horror/sci-fi movie from the early 80s.I saw it over twenty years ago on video.Schclokkiest moment is when a woman whos been impregnated by the killer alien gives birth to a fully grown man. Also full of random stuff that makes no sense, midget killer clown with no explanation of where it came from, panther appearing and killing someone, kids action man doll grows to life size killer(pretty cool sequence if totally barmy)

Yes, it's seriously bad and all over the place. But entertaining if you're in the right mood.

Worth watching for the lead female vamp alone, who walks around in the buff for most of the picture.

Drive Angry is the epitome of this generalisation

I would wager that the Jason Statham vehicle, Crank, also falls into this category. Though Crank 2 simply is so bad it's actually pretty terrible.
