    can you take funds from this a/c out in any branch or do you have to go to branch that a/c was set up in?

    Thanks for contacting us on Boards.

    You can certainly withdraw cash from this account in any Bank of Ireland branch. Please ensure that you have your account details and valid photographic ID such as passport or driver's license with you.

    You will need to give 24 hours notice if you are withdrawing over €5,000. Notice can be submitted over the phone by contacting BOI Direct on 0818 365 365 / 00353 1 4044000.
