He only cut the ribbon. Not like he is plastered all over billboards like Sean O'Brien for Supermacs.

Of course he had a choice and I doubt there was any tangible connection to Breaffy. The money would have went straight to Aidan.

I'm surprised by the surprise in here... McDonald's have been sponsoring World Cups, Olympics for decades... they hand out free Big Macs in the Olympic Village. Aidan cutting a ribon is hardly hard to understand.

Apparently the 20 stone, obese gamer, couldn't get up of the couch to cut it so they went for Aido as reserve.

I see that 5 of the houses to the right of Tommy Robinson's were in the process of being demolished today, it does not look like there are any plans for new developments and that it was more for health and safety reasons.

A new shop opening up in the units under the Failte Suite called Magoos.

    "Vintage, Modern & Quirky"...

By god they know how to waste money....

Pity they wouldn't put some of it into the Ivy Tower or just sell it

Is it a McHugh venture? I presumed those units are available to rent to anyone who wants a business unit?

Was doing the rounds a few weeks back. Supposedly between Castlebar Claremorris and Tuam as the most viable option.

Looks like it could be Castlebar for Allergan

    On the new road then?
I hear they are starting to dig the road out in Jan from a buddy whos mate is a QS on the job. Seen nothing locally though.

So what size is that Allergen development?

And a new petrol station going behind the coal bunker with entrances from both Turlough Rd & Pontoon Rd.

Would be a great boost for the estates on both roads to have a decent shop in the vicinity.

Is that finally happening? Always hear this rumour but it never comes to fruition. Although i did notice the new barrier around the building,

I'm confused. Are we talking about the current Westport Road or the dual carriageway route?

TBH it would make more sense if it was on the new route but is such an exit permissible on a dual carriageway

Sure we haven't even gotten to the stage where the politicians claim credit yet!
