    Leitr NS Castlebar is closing in June. Currently has six pupils and two of those are off to Secondary school.

    It was actually a fairly big house inside, knew a person who used to rent it about 8 years ago, I think they may actually have been the last.

    A lot of others disagree. I regularly pass it and it's packed. Particularly on the weekend or like now during mid term. He has 8 full time staff according to an article in the Connaught. That's pretty good for a small business and with a lot of other places closing it's great to see some opening and/or expanding.

    I don't get the place either, but I'll never knock a place that employs that many people and keep expanding.
    Obv a lot of people like the service they provide.

    I was walking past the builders last week and asked them, its going to be Apache again, apparently :rolleyes:

    Also the new pool will be open the end of March but the offical opening is April 1st...kinda ironic.. April fools day ;)

    Anyone know what's going on with Hillside service station in Claremorris! Seems to be closed with the last two days.

    Looks like they are going reopening the Esso on the N17 near the golf course too in Claremorris

    Going to be an interesting spot for getting out of it. . Its already a dodgy junction.

    Hillside was closed due to a beverment. Due to re open tomorrow.

    Apparently the old vivo filling station is re opening as a large store / Supermacs similar to the one in ballindine and possibly run by the same people.
