Buying "Real" Equipment from overseas

Howdy!

this has probably come up tons of times before, but wanted a fresh thread on it:

I want to get a SERPA Level 3 Tactical Leg-drop holster for my M9, only place i can see online is a US Store (Obviously) - i asked, and they will ship to Ireland.

I guess my question is, if i buy, would it be stopped at the border my Revenue & Customs? I've only ever bought stuff from Ireland or the online stores by AirsfotEire and IrishAirsoft etc etc

If it's only a holster you shouldn't have any problems. You will be hit for EU Duty, Customs clearance, VAT, delivery charges and more VAT though.

Don't be surprised if all that lot adds up to €60 or more.

Also lots of tactical shops in Germany that ship to Ireland Hede Tactical for instance.
