He got an assist and 3 bonus I think.

Did he? Showing me up as a Liverpool fan :o

I was watching the All Ireland :P Caught most of the second half of Liverpool-Norwich (after Ings' goal!)

Moreno 4.7 is most certainly on the watchlist. Was bombing forward yesterday and a bit unlucky not to get attacking returns. Rogers changed the formation to 3 at the back and any time he's changed formation before he'll usually stick with it for a good while..

He's a much better FPL option than Gomez thats for sure. Hopefully hell keep the lb/lwb spot now.

brady norwich 5.4 played on the wing today I think. Ollson was back.

Jarvis couldn't play due to being on loan from West Ham. So that's an issue.

I think if he can keep his spot he'd be a great option at 4.9. He's started really well.

I suppose the watching I'm doing this week is whether Zabaleta takes over from Sagna. Zabaleta was an unused sub last weekend when City conceded 4.

Should be interesting to see who will start in the champions league game on Wednesday.

Lukaku could quickly become essential when Everton hit that great run of fixtures. He was impressive tonight.

I've been intending getting him from GW11 pretty much all along. Hope he stays quiet the next couple of weeks!

He'll probably kill it the next three GWs and then blank for all the easy matches being the FPL troll he is

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Definitely considering Lukaku from GW11 myself.

Gomis to Lukaku after Gomis' run of TOT, STO, avl while Lukaku has LIV, MNU, ars is on my radar as things stand.

Pedro -> Mata also on my mind for that period too. I could see that double transfer working out well, but 3 GW's is a hell of a long time in this game.

Glen Johnson is interesting, two assists in two matches and Stoke have finally kept a cleanie. Decent fixtures ahead, could be my Evans replacement if necessary

Yeah looks decent, thing is I have Butland and don't really fancy doubling up

Any options at 4.4 or less? Morgan and Huth, both both seem to be nailed on yes?

Angel Rangel got 90mins. I assume Wollscheid, Aké, Crespo, Rangel, O'shea, Galloway and Hutton are either not nailed on or will lose their spots. Is there any hope in that list? :P

    I'd go Cook

    I'd go Cook

What do you recommend I cook?:P Ah no, I have Francis. I'm literally doing a -12 for Pelle and KDB but think it's the right call :)

    Hangerlaand-palace? he's on my watchlist.

Danny Simpson (3.9) got 64 mins and a clean sheet yesterday. Would love if he got a few more games

Simpson is a rotation threat always, Delaney will take Hangelaands spot I imagine :(

Bassong/Olsson? Norwich have a better defence than Leicester

O'Shea was nailed but a new manager could change that. Hopefully there will be some bargain options at Sunderland though. Coates at 4.2 played 90 this week and nearly scored.

Hangeland is playing because of injuries, it's not impossible he'll keep a place nut unlikely imo.

Rangel is worth keeping an eye on. See my post in the general thread. Agent Lemlin is on the case.

Allardyce is the favourite for the Sunderland job. If he comes, the first thing he'll do is make them difficult to beat by shoring them up at the back. Wearside defenders could be great value then.

Re Rangel, the feedback I got is that he played "ok" yesterday but Swansea fans can't be sure if he or Naughton will take the spot going forward.

Was debating between Johnson, Dann & Dawson.
All 5m so really only wanted 1 of them to go with kol and Bel with two others @ <4.5.

Agree the run looks good particularly if you already have a CP & WB in Goal/defense, but a lot already have Butland so Johnson is a non option.

Cheers. Naughton will have to stay in my team for now as I need to shift Gomez first before he starts sucking my team value. Naughton to. Sunderland def could follow in the next few weeks.

first thing Big Sam will drop forum favourite PVA
he is an absolute liability every game and is the cause of a lot of goals
maybe he will play him left wing instead .........:D

Big Sam is always good for the quirky positional moves. We could see JOS up front for the last ten minute period of games a la Samba at Blackburn!

Anyone else looking at Mbokani for Norwich? Costs 5.7, got a goal against Leicester, can see him replacing Jerome and they face Newcastle next.

I picked him up this week, had 7.1 to spend with Vardy and Ighalo already in the team. I couldn't afford Gomis and didn't really want Sakho as I have Payet.

Shhh, keep it our secret. Hard to believe Monreal has been seeing more transfers in and that Bellerin is still 5.6m

Looks like "THE" mistake of my WC (ditched him for Azpi) with also a potential £0.2m lost... In my defense, his stats are great but FPL wise he only had 1 goal & 2 assists last year (though I believe he only played half the season).

I didn't understand why people were going Monreal over Bellerin, watching the matches is key here. Tbf, Kos could have scored today and posted a monster BPS score

Yeah. Bellerin has been ridiculously attacking all season I was always afraid of him when I didn't have him. Proving very good value, almost a no brainer imo especially if looking for a Kolarov replacement and you don't have him

    Is Willian a viable option.

Mourinho has man love for him. Free kick specialist. Cheap as chips.

Maybe in a strong front 8?

I definitely think he is an option now, considering his price.
He's been our best player this season, is playing with a lot more confidence, and looks nailed on to start for the next few games at least.

Ozil's now the sixth highest scoring mid and seems to be under the radar. I suppose the fact that he doesn't score enough goals puts people off but if he keeps up his current rate of assists, he could be good value.

Yeah good shout. I'm on the lookout for a hazard replacement. Staying off the Payet bus. Eriksen tempting too.

Have his useless hide already. Him and Pellè are 2 players I just can't seem to own at the right time. Never had either for a good patch.

Problem is he is priced accordingly. 3 of the guys ahead of him are cheaper and 3 more only 3 points behind him that are also cheaper.

Is he better value than some more expensive than him? Absolutely. But there are plenty value than him also.

Sanchez being a must have doesn't help his case also.

2 arsenal mids is a no brainer imo. Walcott Ramsey or ozil to go with sanchez. There is lots of goals in that team and an attacking manager.

Van Dijk. Southampton have decent run of games after pool to get CS and hes carried over his goalscoring from Celtic.

Depends on Stekelenburg tho. Davis wont get them CS.

Not with Mahrez, Payet and De Bruyne out there it's not IMO.

I'd prefer a second arsenal mid over payet and mahrez. Moreso I'd prefer theo but I'm probably on my own there. I'd also be looking at having 5 good midfield spots rather than 4.

I can't see payet leaving my team bar injury
excellent player and more importantly a point getter!

Mahrez and Payet remain the 2 highest scoring midfielders and I don't see it as being a fluke. Both look like season keepers to me.
