    Hey all,

Quick question. I got my hands on an Amazon Echo today, as well as a cheap bluetooth speaker (they're for different rooms).

One thing that I found odd is that both devices pair with my iPhone without any need to enter a pin??

Is this secure? Can't someone just stand in my hallway and connect their phone to Echo, for example? Or am I missing something obvious?

    Thanks in advance!

With the Amazon echo, I suppose I need to activate the pairing from the device side by using the "wake" word, but what about the cheaper speaker?
