96 Nissan Almera [cluster]

    Hi all,
    the tachometer on my car was broken when I bought the car and tried taking out the whole instrument cluster to have a look at it during the nice weather we had.

    I ended up trying to remelt all the soldering on the back of the cluster and managed to bridge alot of things together, (I have no experience with fixing things with solder, only joining wiring).

    Anyway, the whole thing went up in smoke and I'm currently scavaging around looking for a 96 almera for breaking. I had a saloon GX , and have no luck with finding a part from the exact model.

    Question is, anybody know if the instrument clusters from 96-00 almera's would fit in it's place?
