no sound when record screen with snagit

    When i record screen with snagit in vista 32 there is no sound. Is there a virtual microphone or soundcard i can get.? It says no internal microphone is present.

    Does anyone know if stereo mix plus and or anvsoft virtual sound device are ok, free of ads spyware

    It is a vaio vgn nr11z/s

    A trial tells me if i use applian replay video capture there is sound. What is in replay video capture and not in snagit. I prefer snagit

    Try CamStudio it's free and I have never had any trouble recording sounds.

    Don't like camstudio. understand it is now adware or spyware

    It may be an issue with your sound settings. Download Audacity and see what if picks up under recording device. Alternatively see if you can record sound in the native Windows Sound Recorder.

    there is no microphone only an external which is disconnected as i have not one plugged in. nothing appears at show disabled devices.my internal microphone has disappeared

    It'd be worth reinstalling your audio drivers

    Should be fine. Just run the file through your av before install

    won't work with snagit but will with faststone capture
