I'm currently playing through this game despite owning the game for a few years. I previously got as far as Paris and just called it quits for some reason but I really like it now. Not sure if I am playing the game correctly as once I kill the two targets I leave the map. Still getting used to the settings layout also as there seems to be more missions in each map but never tried them yet(or is there?)

Nah, you're right. Its a well made fun game. It's also visually very pretty.

No, that's pretty much right, kill the targets and leave.

IT goes a little further than that though, as the levels are extremely replayable. Each level has a series of "Challenges", which you should try out. Once you get used to the mechanics of a level, try to complete the mission without getting spotted, which will complete the "silent assassin" challenge. There's loads of them, and most of them are fun to do, like killing a target by replacing his golf ball with and explosive one, and then allowing him to tee off. Some of them are really hard to do, like "suit only, silent assassin", which means killing the targets without being seen and not using any disguises.

Completing challenges unlocks stuff, some of which is just new locations to start a mission, or new stashes so you can pick up weapons in a mission. Others are weapons or gadgets that are more useful.

Or try the mastery difficulty and do the silent sniper suit only challenge, 1 save, so much fun and frustration, you can easily lose a Saturday on the levels with 3 targets.
