    Hey Folks,

I'm currently deciding the best options for sourcing the parts for a new Gaming PC build.
I've been looking at NewEgg, but I'm unsure what the story is with Customs/Import fees for anything bought from them.

Can anyone answer - if you buy components from NewEgg, are you charged duty/VAT/taxes as well as their shipping fees?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Yes, 23%

They also charge crazy shipping here, and you lose your warranty.

    Handier to buy from EU

    Ouch - thanks!!

I had heard that the shipping fees included a pre-payment of the import fees, but I suspected that wasn't right.

    Thanks! :D

The import fee has nothing to do with Newegg so that's incorrect anyways.

Do you want to post your build for review

Post it here if you want, most of the regulars open most threads here anyways
