If a person shouts in my ear loudly it could damage my hearing...how come when I shout, it doesn't damage or hurt my ears?

Is Ireland the only country where you see protesters outside AA meetings?

    Wha?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

How come when you're looking for something in your pocket or in one of many zipped compartments of your handbag, it's NEVER in the first one you check?

Why do we say "I'm on the bus", but we say "I'm IN the car"?

Why do you always turn to another TV channel to see what's on and there's always ads on?

    Googled it...
"As you scream for your favorite sports team, special brain cells kick in to protect your auditory system from the sound of your own voice, a new study suggests.
These cells dampen your auditory neurons' ability to detect incoming sounds. The moment you shut up, the inhibition signal stops and your hearing returns to normal, so you can then be deafened by the screams of the guy next to you"

you don't remember the times it was 'right first time' - they are uneventful

    Dunno

TV's tend to have similar schedules things starting on the hour etc, and ads at evenly spaced intervals. Watch BBC. No ads.

    Why can't most people draw?

I mean if you can see something in front of you then why are so many people terrible at representing even basic things on paper??

Scale, proportion and perspective are ignored by most people when drawing. I never had lessons myself but it's always come naturally to me.

Why does Ireland have such a wide variety of accents compared to Canada for example, where the accent doesn't change much unless you are in Quebec or out East in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

Its a massive country, and very sparsely populated for its size, the new foundland one is quirky though a mix of Irish and scottish have met quite a few, aparrently I'm from the "old country"
Very similar mentality it must be said. Sound folk.

I understand time doesn't pass from the POV of the photon but from the persons POV time must pass. What makes you say it would stop.

Time slows down for people too.

It's not like you'll notice your watch has stopped. Or be able to see your reflection , remember you are moving as fast as the photons.

And photons are kinda important since they mediate electrons and hence chemistry and hence biology and hence brains and stuff.

I was kinda understanding til you said that.....lol, now I'm back to the start...

When you say mediate electrons can you elaborate dude. If you don't mind.

So a photon is a virtual particle the travels in the disturbance caused by the electron....Is that it.

A few questions of my own...
Why do some women cross their arms while walking ?

To stop their t*ts from bouncing uncontrollably thus inviting unwanted male attention.
Why do some motorcyclists constantly check their back-wheels when driving at speed ?

They know Death is chasing them so they're just checking to see if He has caught up with them yet.
Why do drivers stare to the left while waiting to enter a main road ?

Might as well make sure one way is clear before checking the other way ........ it works both ways.

    Any hard questions?

That The Snapper was made 23 years ago and Colin Meaney is only 62. So he wasn't even 40 when they made it.
How did such a young guy get the part?
He was then around the same age as Jonathan R Myres, Colin Farrel, Tom v lawler, Mike Fassbender are now.
Anyone know what age Ruth Macabe is.(his on screen wife)
