Sunflower disease

Hi folks just wondering if come you know what this disease is? Planted nearly twenty and all but two have it. Just appeared when the heads were getting ready to flower but they probably won't flower at all now

Pretty hard to tell but it could be something to do with where they're planted. Sowing them in grass is far from ideal. They need open clear flower beds or large pots. It's possible that the grass has taken so much from them that it has weakened them a lot and affected them.
