    Hi all,

I am looking for a decent pair of trail runners.

What brands would the experienced lads recommend. Any decent shops?

    Thanks

I got Brooks PureGrit 3s from this lot http://gottarun.ie/index.php?rt=product/product&product_id=507

Very nice shoe, great service, best to email and ask as the choice of trail shoe depends on the usage. For me and the terrain I run on these were the ones that they recommended.

    Its very personal.

I've been around the block with trail shoes and keep coming back to the Brooks PureGrit. Some swear by Soloman, others iNOV8 (have a pair of Race Ultras 290), others Saucony Peregrine & Xodus, purists Walsh PB's.

Really comes down to fit and comfort a lot of the times.

What are you thinking of doing?

Hard gravel trails or wet forest stuff?
