Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Team News

Man United: Manchester United's starting XI is tough to predict, given Van Gaal is likely to include some youngsters in the side. As far as we know, everyone selected for the tour will be available to play. That, of course, will not include Victor Valdes, who was excluded from the touring squad. Michael Carrick is over his late-season ankle injury, according to the club's official website.

Club America: Club America are already a couple of games deep in their ICC campaign, having lost their opener against LA Galaxy, but should be on a high after seeing off San Jose. Dario Benedetto left the 'Quakes game with his left foot in a protective boot so is presumably a doubt for this one.

    Players to Watch

United eyes will be firmly fixed on the new men, particular superstar signing Bastian Schweinsteiger. Van Gaal told ManUtd.com that his players would most likely see a maximum of 60 minutes of action—and more likely 45—in the first two ICC games. There will thus most likely be a chance to see all four new arrivals. Memphis Depay's attacking talents will be eagerly anticipated.

First potentially controversial moment. Blind has his hair tied up. Not sure how I feel about it.

This tournament seems a lot harder to win that last season, very convoluted.

little columbian up front for club america looks a decent little player from the first 15 minutes here, non stop looking for the ball making runs in behind and looks to have a decent bit of pace.

Rooney with a failed cross field ball attempt. Really wish he'd stop doing that...

This is no friendly :) Blind better not tackle like that in the box in the premier league

Club America really ran their bollix off that half. Constant pressure.

Schneiderlin by far the most impressive of the debutants.

Let's hope we don't see Blind as a CB again.
