St Manntans Rd is a quiet road alright.

Probably an above average number of elderly residents there.

Just wondering if it is a busy road being close to town?
Is there development planned for the old school or the closed up shop?
How would it compare with St. Patrick's rd., ?
    Any flooding in the area.

    Thanks.

Not that busy, not a whole lot of through traffic.....

Whatever will happen to the old De La Salle college is on indefinite hiatus. (what a waste of a good school).

The old shop was a salon for a while, personally I don't think any business could last there..... It may find a future as a residence.

No flooding there... Wicklow is built into a hill, so everywhere slopes.

St Patrick's road would have much more traffic in comparison.... Its a feeder road from the surrounding estates into Main Street.

Could you tell about S Quay road, is it quiet place to live or not? Can you walk safely with a dog at the evening? Thinking of moving there and have no information

South Quay can be busy during business hours, although it depends on your definition of busy.
There's a few businesses along the quays there which brings traffic and its also used to avoid the main street.
I would suggest it's pretty safe, they developed the road and put in a cycle lane recently, so it's a pretty popular walking route. You are also pretty close to the Murrough and the new 'prom' both are very popular with dog walkers.

Busy & parking may be difficult.
Susceptible to flooding as the river is tidal.
