I got very bored with this game world. I don't know if it was the blindly purchasing of 16 year old teenagers, or just a general disinterest, but I had to do one of two things. I had to either leave, or change my approach to reignite my some interest again. You'll all be glad to know that I chose the latter.

Of course, I've still decided to persist with my youth policy, but I've managed to bring the average rating of my starting eleven to 83, while having the average age at only 20.

So far, my team looks like this:

No. | Player | Position | Age | Rating | Real life club (Loaned to)
    1 | Gianluigi Donnaruma | GK | 16 | 80 | AC Milan
    2 | Malcolm Cacutalua | DR | 21 | 80 | Bayer Leverkusen (VfL Bochum)
    3 | Rubén Duarte | DL | 20 | 84 | RCD Espanyol
    4 | Clément Lenglet | DC | 20 | 82 | AS Nancy Lorraine
    5 | Marc-Oliver Kempf | DC | 20 | 82 | SC Freiburg
    6 | Seko Fofana | DMC | 20 | 83 | Manchester City (SC Bastia)
    7 | Anwar El Ghazi | AMC(R) | 20 | 86 | Ajax
    8 | Youri Tielemans (C) | DMC | 18 | 87 | RSC Anderlecht
    9 | Enzo Crivelli | FC | 20 | 83 | Girondins Bordeaux
    10 | Santi Mina | AMC | 20 | 86 | Valencia CF
    11 | Leandro Paredes | AMC(L) | 21 | 83 | AS Roma (Empoli)

I'm looking forward to seeing how Lenglet and Kempf do as a partnership as they both seem to have bright futures ahead.

I reckon Cacutalua and Crivelli will be the first ones out of that starting team to be replaced.

I've also a few young promising teenagers who could be making their way to Northern Italy as decent backups.

I'm looking forward to the coming season now to see how my new look side get on! :):)

What's the story with the smfa competition, is it like the other cup games, in that it will kill my fitness for the next game?

If you go into tactics, it will give you the rules for the next competition you're playing in, just over your player list. I believe fitness doesn't apply for SMFA competitions.

Youri Tielemans (87), along with new recruits Anwar El Ghazi (86) and Santi Mina (86), are the main hopes for a 90 in here in Northern Italy, although it may be a while before any of them actually reach it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,757 ✭✭✭richieffff

Martial, Sane and Tah are my main hopes at America.

Also in the mix Oliver Torres, timo werner, and breel Embolo.

If Rugani ever gets a game then him too

I didnt realise we were at semi final stage, would have played my first team ( avg rating of about 82) rather than the lads averaging 78 :)

Well done all the same tho!
