Falkirk beat Northampton Town 3 - 1 in their Play-Off fixture.

Bandowski scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Perica and Harder were also amongst the goalscorers.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Got in Iturbe :) tried to sign a 90 but we aren't allowed. This is when the fun begins, start trading up to 87/88/89s

I'm sticking to my policy of buying hot prospects and seeing if I can develop a team ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,488 ✭✭✭Ordinary man

St pats policy is based on 3 things. 1. buying a balanced squad to be competitive 2. buying players who can help in the short term and be sold for profit later 3. buying the youths who will be the long term future of the club with profit

Now if the manager could get his tactics right they should be very competitive

I've a buy to sell policy

I've a no buying anyone over the age of 16 (ish) policy. Once they were 16 or less on the 1st of January of the current year then I can buy them no questions asked.

If I do dip into the age bracket above that (which doesn't happen anymore) it was only because I was short on defenders so I needed to from that perspective.

Tielemans was of course the obvious exception to this rule but I only have him so I can use him as bait to bring the young Norwegian kid at Real here from GT's crowd.

I'm may also look to bring in Mario Balotelli eventually as Lumezzane was the club where it all began for him.

Falkirk beat St. Patrick's Athletic 1 - 0 in the final to lift the trophy.

Cavaleiro scored the winner for Falkirk and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Division 2, here we come

sorry - I'm one. Will try and get back to it when things quieten down in the O'Flaherty household with baby on way. Can't give this GW the attention it deserves.

Your -9 and -5 moved to non league football 3 years ago, and the minus 2 is now an average league 1 player now. They're all lucky their ratings stayed that high as long as they did

Thats fair enough of course, hopefully you can make it back

Echo the sentiment that this is a great GW, be a shame for it to fall into inactivity

Whats peoples views on the buying rating limit?

Is 90 ok? Or too high / low?

The reasoning was to 'force' teams to build up rather than go full chelski or Manchester Dhabi mode....

Let me know what ye think

I'm happy with how it is to be honest. I think considering the size of the stadiums people are in, they won't generate enough revenue to be able to pay the big boys wages so anyone who does buy a 90+ is going to be in trouble.

I'm Nice in your other league and i'm 3m in debt primarily due to Ronaldo!

I'd keep it the way it is, the challenge is trying to find the players to rise to 90!

My closest at the moment is Coquelin. Bought him as an 86, rose to 88 not long after and could probably get to 89 by the end of the season if he gets a cap for France along the way.

I got in Iturbe but I've been bidding on other 88s and 89s and it's being rejected :/

Must need a better average in order for them to move or something

    Grand the way it is

Balde KEITA has completed his move to Cork City from SS Lazio for 4,940,000

Sergio RICO has completed his move to Cork City from Sevilla for 4,910,000

    Not too shabby Alonso!

Got Silva (The young Real lad, not David :D) and I'm in for another at the moment. That'll be done for a few weeks then I'd imagine
