Good tactics from Sky - racing looks a lot better when the GC contenders don't have team mates though. (I'm not counting Valverde as anyone's team mate :) )

Sagan there for Bertie now too

Whatever else you can call this, it's great team tactics today.

I really hope Uran can win this. He's just passed Pinot.

Look at the replay and you can see him look to the left just as he loses it. He essentially shifted his weight mid corner and that caused him to lose it.

Was that Porte down the cliff ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,506 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

I would have thought Sagan would lead Contador down the rest of the descent?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,033 ✭✭✭irishrover99

the descents have been more exciting than the climbing in this tour

He's totally disappeared on the live tracker, who knows where he is.

There were reports somebody went flying out to the side on the descent...might be one of them?

    I believe he did.
Sagan and another Saxo rider were there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,251 ✭✭✭Boscoirl

Movistar have 4 riders together now, surely they should try something now before Roche falls back to them

    MoviStar's everywhere!

Turning out to be another non-event stage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,658 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

This means that movistar will cover any move by contador, meaning less work for sky and playing even more into froome's hands...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,341 ✭✭✭hans aus dtschl

Movistar doing Sky a favour here

    Great win by Geschke.

Only until tomorrow, when two Movistar's are on the podium and can afford to attack Froome.

Just because Froome isn't losing time that means it's a non-event stage?

    I completely disagree.

    Goddamnit MoviStar do something

Everyone riding tempo is a non event.

It's been a massive stage. TJ gone, Contador about to lose 2 more minutes. MoviStar 2/3 almost secured. Means a lot on the grand scheme of things

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,606 ✭✭✭MPFG

Majka crosses the line well ahead of Contador ....he didn;t fall back ...strange

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,341 ✭✭✭hans aus dtschl

Froome using his rivals against each other quite cleverly.
