Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mortgage approval after probation

Does anyone know what the banks stand point is in getting a mortgage after changing jobs ?
I have recently changed jobs and have a four month probation after which I will be made permanent.
Is there any chance getting a mortgage approval straight away after probation - I have a good credit history, 40% of the purchase price saved up ?

Lenders usually require you to be in your current employment for between 6/12 months. If you are employed in the same sector and once you're finished your probation you should be considered for a mortgage. The fact that you have a 40% deposit will also stand to you.
