Medicine for 5years in UCD

    Hi! I'm going into 5th year this year and have chosen to study English, Irish, French, Maths, Accounting, Biology and Chemistry.

    I would love to study medicine at 3rd level and in UCD. However, is it only possible to get a place on the 6 year course if you are a school leaver?

    For 5 year medicine how many/what science subjects is required or is 5 year medicine possible for a school leaver going into UCD?

    If you're a school leaver you can only do the 6 year course, even if you do all 3 sciences. The only people who can skip premed in UCD afaik are those who are already doing a health sciences related course in college and then do the HPAT.
