What do I need to get a first??

Hi all, I was wondering can anyone help me. My gpa for stage 3 is 3.58, which is weighted at 30:70 for my overall mark...can anyone tell me what the minimum I need to get to get first class overall?

I don't know if it matters but am only in lectures this year from sept-dec this year as I start an internship for the final semester which lasts for 9 months and is just a pass/fail!

A little bit of maths:

A first is 3.68 or greater.

After Stage 3 you've the following obtain (assuming 30:70 split)
3.58*0.3 = 1.074 (Multiply by the weighting for Stage 3)

Therefore for Stage four you'll need:
(3.68 - 1.074) = 2.606 (take away what you've already earned)
2.606/0.7 = 3.7228 ... (divide by the weighting for Stage 4)

Which is a GPA of approximately 3.73 for stage 4.
This is a A- Average.

Thanks andru - eurgh 3.73 sounds very hard to get I doubt I'll get that
