Any suggestions to where I can get good cardboard boxes as I'll be moving house and need to start packing things up.... Is there a company that specialises ?? Do movers provide them ??? All new to me, thanks :)

If you go with a moving company, they'd provide boxes or crates a few weeks in advance of the move.

I got a recent quote of around €1200 + VAT, so nearly €1500.
But we may need to hold the contents of the house in storage for a couple of weeks, so it might effectively be 2 moves.

Ask in your local supermarket. I recently moved house & got over 70 boxes from our local Supervalu over a few weeks. I unfortunately recycled them so can't pass them on.

We moved recently and our removals company supplies as many boxes as we needed - kept getting more of them as the packing went on - Dundalk based company: if you want the name I'll PM it to you?

IKEA sells packaging boxes or u store it in Santry. I've often gotten boxes from Supervalu and Aldi without any problems.
