Yeah but is the point not that wildly fluctuating levels in and of themselves are indicative of foul play regardless of the actual ratio.

Weidman was around 3.8 both tests
    Belfort was 12.something and 5.something
Despite belfort being nearly a decade older than Weidman. Which was Weidman point

Not really tbh. Levels flucuation naturally within a normal range over the day, week etc. Going from 5 to 12 looks like a big increase, but that's only because they are both so low here. I think the normal range would be around 50-80 (for those units).

When it was first reported it wasn't clear what units were used. Some were using a different scale (600 - 1200), so it looked like Vitor went from normal to double normal. And Chris was marginally low. But infact they were both really low.

Fighter bashing my eye, seen her and a few other men and women fighters in mgm during 189 and she was bigger and bulkier than some of the guys, she dosent look natural in terms of her shape at all, and she can't even make the bloody weight anyway so it's all mute

thank you.. some people just love to throw the fighter bashing card round these days.

Ronda's leg movement is unreal in that clip, and compare that to Correia's which is non existent!!! The position adjustment after the sweep is great.

This is done after the first clinch I think.

Who do you guys think will win Shogun v Nogueira ?

I don't think Shogun has ever lost more than two on the trot. But he is the poster boy for inconsistency.

Looking on paper , Nogueira has had more success over the last few years. But Shogun has faced tougher opposition in most cases, but if memory serves me right he was soundly beaten in almost all the fights he has lost in the last couple years save the Henderson fight. (I could be wrong on that.)

They are different throws though, Ronda's is a harai goshi, while Correia's looks more like the hip toss you'd see wrestling, maybe a bad form o goshi from judo

Spoiler: Rousey walks forward eats a few jabs, grabs Correia and throws her to the ground, slaps on a arm bar, wins fight, 45 seconds tops.

Yeah two different throws. Ronda's looks more like Osoto Gari (or gake?) to me, she is loading in the direction she is moving and taking out that leg.

Correia's throw is a koshi garuma

Going back if memory serves me correctly Shogun gave Gus a great fight, got caught being slopoy versus Sonnen, looked great against TeHuna, was doing great against Hendo in the second fight and almost had Hendo put away until Hendo hit him with his right hand of death. He was awful versus OSP. His recent record probably looks a little worse than it is but I think as long as he can let his hands go he should ko Nog.

Yeah I think you're right, she does it with such force I thought it must be a hip throw. I remember her explaining it from a few years ago and always thought it was a nice little vid

All these oshi's and goshi's confuse me, I'm just going to stick with hiptoss in future :pac:

A lot of booing for Correia. Not surprising after her comments but from a Brazilian crowd it was unexpected.

    Can't wait for tomorrow night.

Twas him surely, I thought fighters weighing in were only allowed a plus one but Edmond (Rondas main coach) was on stage too.

Yeah he's been with her for almost 2 years now. They started working together prior to her 2nd fight with Tate in December 2013.

I think I read before that they had been in contact previous to that on and off, but when she went in to train a session for Sonnen on TUF 17, Dolce was helping Chael out too and they became more friendly which strengthened her desire to work with him properly.

Yeah she works with him. If he looks different it's because he's working on a bulking book at the minute. I met him last month and he looked huge.
He spoke about Ronda a bit, he was saying that because she was under WADA rules in the Olympics, and the IJF for so long that he has always refused an IV in the UFC.
