Bookies were under-estimating Cummins' ability to win a decision via complete boredom! Have a bet on it. Hope it doesn't get stopped.

Calvalcante looks terrible here physically. Guy used to be ripped.

Was he ever given a TUE?

IF it goes the length, even if Feijao completely dominates this round, it's and easy win for Cummins.

I didn't think that was boring. Absolute domination by Cummins. It wasn't just boring wrestling, he was clinical in doing some serious damage.

He was doing what Pendred should be doing.

    Cummins v Pendred in Dublin.

Give every an extra 15 minutes to get a pint/toilet break.

Except Pendred doesn't have the wrestling skills.

    Maia will finish this early.

Maia like a cat playing with a mouse here. Complete control on the ground and seems to get full mount at will, although not doing a whole lot of damage. Round 1 Maia.

    Saved by the bell there!

Maia is supreme on the mat, insane control.

Bet the judges still give that round as 10-9!

Maia made that look easy, very impressive.

This was a 37 year old 5 time world champion taking the piss out of a striker who was completely out of his depth on the mat.

That was Maia's 21st fight in the UFC, pretty impressive

Maia is class and all, but it also shows how the UFC has changed when a guy can put together 8 straight wins without getting anywhere near a Top 10 fighter and then have that happen to them!

It's just a bigger field is all. This was always going to happen as it expanded.

It's just a useful reminder that streaks aren't always a sign of competence at the highest levels. beating a load of lads outside the top 15 doesn't mean you are going to be able to swim with the big fish.

    Happens in boxing, kickboxing, everything.

Yup. Field is too big in my opinion.

That's nothing to do with my point however. Magny won 8 in a row and would get near nobody in the Top 10 IMO, regardless of style!

They know it's too big, didn't Dana recently say they have something like 100 too many fighters because of the merger and not letting people go when they should have?

Really like the new graphics. Very clean and professional.

Think I like the new opening titles better too.

Jesus, Maia is an animal on the ground. Not even a different level to Magny, but a different world.

Expecting Ronda to absolutely batter Bethe, but I have to give her credit for having a big pair of ovaries giving that lip at the weigh-in.
