Opening a UK bank account from Ireland

    Hey guys I need to open a UK bank account for a job in England. Is it possible to do that from Ireland?

    HSBC in Belfast used to do it if you visit them in person

    I just found out that AIB offer a sterling current account to existing AIB customers. Works just like a regular UK account - can do SO DD etc.
