HHH and Angle would have been my two picks. Angle's version of HBK's theme is one of my favourite moments ever.

Will go with Cena, has become somewhat old and repetitive but so have other, and during his rapping days he was on fire.

Hard to think of another real stand out off hand and someone posting after me will pick someone obvious, but I will go with JBL. It always felt like he believed what he was saying which really helps a promo.

Punk maybe would have been in another era. Loved his stuff when they, either let him say what he wanted or he just did it anyway.

No Hogan, but Hawk is in?

No Hogan, but Hawk is in?

Who? Never heard of him. Tried looking on the WWE website but no mention of him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

    Piper vs Zeb

Although I enjoy Zeb, I haven't seen much of him outside his Real American stuff. While that was fantastic, it's not enough to beat the Rowdy one. That chaotic erratic almost cartoon style was captivating. Vote for Roddy Piper.

    no Warrior or Christian either?

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,720 Mod ✭✭✭✭riffmongous

I like Zeb and thought him and Swagger were pretty good and could have gone further, but this is a tough draw as his body of work isnt big enough to compare to Piper.

    Piper

    no Warrior or Christian either?

Why don't you just vote on the match moneymaker has given us and prepared? Fair enough you can mention those lads as other possibilities but you just come in to criticise. You did something similar in one of my tournaments too. It's bad form.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

    no Warrior or Christian either?

    You could have nominated both.

And you may see them later on.

So can we please have some votes?

  • Registered Users Posts: 328 ✭✭Griever931

    I'll go with Roddy Piper.

  • Registered Users Posts: 677 ✭✭✭Cheese Wagstaff

Got to be the Hot Rod.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,520 ✭✭✭Hashtag_HEEL

    It's got to be piper!

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,820 ✭✭✭grames_bond

Has to be Piper - the man does not get the credit he deserves for the sucess of WM1 - simply he was one of the greatest heels the business has ever seen and the majority of that is down to his ability on the stick! he could get the exact reaction he wanted, WHEN he wanted, he was a genius at reading crowds and the hatred he got was a testement to his skill.

and let's not forget, just when you think you've got all the answers...HE CHANGES THE QUESTION!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,478 ✭✭✭brianregan09

Piper for me even now the guy still has it just an innate madness about him and it comes across so well on Television

Coulter is great too but i've never seen much of him outside his border patrol racist schtik so Piper for me

No chance for Zeb here as he fails to deport another emigrant.

    Round One, Match Two:

    Shawn Micheals:

One of the best wrestlers ever, but also amazing on the mic as a face or a heel

    vs

    Scott Steiner:

Big Poppa Pump himself, one of the most entertaining(usually for the wrong reasons) promo ever?
