well that's my lunch break over and i've completely wasted it searching for lonely island video links. i neeD that job in rte to materialise soon.

I feel that it hit the nail on the head with the lad roaming around some fantasised happy clappy technicolor world, any other allusions are purely unintentional.

    Oooooh
These transparent "As featured on Late Late Toy Show 2020" stickers can be sent out to be put on the doors of those shops who get them.

Even shops that never sell toys.

Driving the car the other day and Fairytale of New York popped into his head. I was waiting for a segue to the toy show.

Recommending a book called The Talented Man. The irony.

Christmas trees in the middle of July.

"Wouldn't be a great opening for the toy show"

    That's the start of it

I wasn't/am not listening but WTF? Is he really talking about Christmas in July?

    YES !

Along with his suggestion of putting up Christmas trees to get some " Christmas cheer" going.

Why not get ahead of yourself and do your Christmas shopping now?

Because most people have to plan for these things and don't have more cash than they know what to do with.

He also won't be watching the Toy Show repeat cos he's 'mortified'. Strange. The year-round Toy show talk would suggest otherwise.

Shes on to promote her 2nd hand tat shop. Wonder who in rte shes friends with ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,530 ✭✭✭PieOhMy

An Irish Hamilton on the Horizon perhaps? Not sure if the toy show was mentioned in June but pretty sure it was mentioned in January, February, March, April and May.

For a show with no actual good / memorable content that lasts circa 3 hours he must get about 50 hours talking about it time, that's serious bang for your buck.
