    Listening to Ryan whilst in the car (which is compulsory, apparently) I was reflecting on his wish to be headhunted by the Beeb, and comparing him with a very successful broadcaster (and writer, and wine “maker”, etc) who has achieved this, namely Graham Norton.

    Similarities are that they are both Irish, both host a TV show and a radio show. And that’s about where it stops for me. I’m not going to be unkind and point to Ryan’s very own individual style and approach to both radio and TV.

    Then my mind wandered to a comparison of Ray D’Arcy and Graham Norton. I was so depressed that I glazed over, time itself seemed to slow and the pause, and the rest of the journey passed by without me noticing anything at all

    Until, suddenly, the journey was over and I stepped out into the real world again. Such relief

    After her harrowing ordeal, she is looking to put her story out there....

    Will the King of Kindness step up and give her that national hug, representing the Irish people....
