It’s ok though, as long as there is a beautiful, gorgeous book to be plugged.

He’s just asked a child “how would he rate his teacher on a scale from Biden to Trump?”

Luckily the primary school child knew it was best not to answer

I'd ask if you're joking, except I already know the answer.

He had been complaining about horrible cliches a minute before coming out with this. The Irony.

I liked Fry's lesson in self-awareness. We're not al in the same boat despite some people wanting to spread this message. Some people are in luxury (state-funded) yachts, others are in leaky currachs. A delicious lesson in self-awareness that a certain D(eluded)LB should pay heed to.

I doubt Indian families in Ireland watch RTE

It wont land. Same as the bullying Shane Lynch or making little comments on peoples appearance.
Sometimes people just dont have the cop on to reflect on their own actions. It's always other people that are the problem and when the bully does it its just a bit of messing or the victim is too sensitive.

I try to reflect on my own actions and comments as best I can to see if I've fallen into hypocrisy myself, everybody is human and entitled to make mistakes but the lack of self awareness or effort to improve is not as easily forgivable.

I did a 'ctrl F' search on the mirror home page last week for 'Tubridy' and the word was featured 12 times. Theres an 'article's every day about that days show and then the other ones about the toy show. It's hard to know if its paid promotion or if the paper is just looking for content. No other shows get that treatment so it makes me suspect the former. Any thoughts?

It's Noel Kelly & Co. pushing. D'arcy has been in the rags a lot recently too.

The Indo. used to do a daily feature on Mr. Duffy's "joythievery"*, often the feature would be online while the show was still on air.

*(c) ButtersSuki Enterprises Limited. "joythievery" is a crime committed by The Thief of Joy. RTE have several Thieves of Joy.

The way he dismissed Lynch's bullying claims was an example of how entitled and out of touch the Boyman is. He should have fronted up and apologized, but of course he didn't because he had an appointment at Teddy's for a 99.

Using a dreadful family tragedy to plug the Toy Show is a new low!

    Shameless!!!!!

The emotionally bereft little mickey man.

How dare he? That is surely worthy of another complaint-ah, what am I saying, they'll just bin it anyway.

Isn’t Tubridy off all next week to “prepare for the Toy Show”?

Expect he’ll be even more hyper than usual today.

I think that "they should have been watching the Toy Show" remark is very inappropriate and tactless.
