So no coincidence then that Elle got the interview when she has Ryan splashed across her next cover.

It's all a closed little shop , that's why I'm not on chatting about my dad.

Glen Hansard and Bono on the Late Late Show on Friday.

No thanks! If I want to get preached at, I'll go to a church.

Hard to pick the biggest w@nker from that triumvirate isn't it?

    It's quite extraordinary.

You've obviously never listened to Liveline then...............

I do worry for a lot of the populace who seem to spend the day listening to the radio and crying.

I think that number is equally balanced out by those who spend their days dancing around the kitchen.

Laughing at the Rubs headline proclaiming "All I need in life is my family". So you'll do the radio and LLS gigs for €100,000 next year then and forevermore after that will you? You'd still be overpaid btw.

That's why I was asking if either her or her dad was well known, cos all she is saying about her dad I could say about mine.

He died 27 years ago and my mum still misses him dearly and her life is affected to this day without him. They were best friends etc etc and she still cries about him not being there.

Perhaps I should get on the show for a chat.

    I know what you mean.

I might give him a shout, I was 10 when dad died, 23 when my brother died and 29 when mam died.
I could chuck in grandparents and various relatives, but it might be a bit much for the DLB.

My dad has been gone 45 years come January.............do I win a freebie Bryan ???

You'd only be warming up for Joe Duffy with that story. Any rare diseases to add in?

I see the DLB is doing his It's a Wonderful Life routine there on the front cover

"All I need in life is my family"

How wholesome. I wonder does he elaborate on this in the article?

e.g. " all I need is my family, plus a 500 k salary, an 8-hour working week at the expense of the great unwashed, and free anything that even remotely tickles my fancy"

Tubridy lauds the cartoon Beauty and the Beast. Specifically because the cartoon character is “a reader”! (Apparently the film version didn’t highlight this enough)

    The man needs help.

    Beauty and the Beast.

    Who cares?

It's a wonderful life. You need to see it.

We've got loads to get through today so let's get STUCK IN!

I went to see the Beauty and the Beast cartoon when I was 12.

I don't like books with stickers on them.

He's a McCartney fan not The Beatles for sure (esp. the schmaltzy dirge McCartney post-Beatles)
