Hmm, I’m trying to remember when i last used the word “chums” to refer to my friends, or even my acquaintances, or people. I work with. I’ll maybe try it out.

    Do you like black eyes?

People here seem to monitor Tubridy's semi-lucid, incoherent and ill-conceived ramblings about absolute inconsequential frivolity on a daily basis and his other worldly penchant for nonsense like 'kindness' and are disaffected.

He doesn't care. He's making a killing doing next to nowt. He has an army of lick spittles producing this tripe. His utterances show what an abject lightweight he really is. His command of the English language is abysmal and his wholly ill-prepared, devil may care attitude, while galling, is apparently in line with standard policy it seems and fully backed by his employers at vast expense.

He is positively Shakespearean compared to Duffy :D

    I think he’s more Bertie Wooster-ish, but that’s just me :D

Partridge could nearly do a Tubridy bingo at this stage.

That's funny cos everytime I see Tubridy on the Late Late when there is an important guest I use the term "Jerk Twitchin"

I find it Intriguing that Jerk Twitchin rhymes with Jerk Chicken.

I'm intruiged as to why neither Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank nor Monkey Tennis weren't ever comisioned by RTE when the Beeb rejected them. They're made worse programmes than either of those.

He played the Kinks tune Well Respected Man today. Interesting opening lyrics.

Cause he gets up in the morning,
And he goes to work at nine,
And he comes back home at five-thirty

Definitely the longest shift anyone's ever put in on the Tubridy show.

Working til half five? But when does this respected fellow go to the cinema and bookshops? What a curious existence!

    Waffle, waffle, waffle.
Medical masks, flu, waffle, waflle, sneeze splash, pettifogging - intriguing!

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

Sadly I knew what pettifogging meant.

Bryan mocking people who engage in pettifogging without a hint of irony.

    Macca

    Paul McCartney!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Humblebragging!
I'm going to see him for the 10th time soon! By jove!
Tom Jones! Bryan indulges us with his Welsh accent - it's as awful as you could imagine.

    I'm out.

Is this an ad or is he just discussing Tom Jones in general?

I’m beginning to believe that this show is a blatant ad for Aiken Promotions who specialize in bringing pensioner acts to Ireland.

Swift press of the ‘off’ button from the Brenner too.

They will be bringing in dudes in bathchairs soon, and Pat will snap up the tickets.
