Hi, I'm thinking of doing the BCL in nuig or another college. I know most go on to be solicitors or barristers but I'm not interested really in going that far with it. What job opportunities will I have following the 3 year BCL? What am I qualified to do? Any advice would be appreciated so much honestly !

I'm going into final year for the BCL. Realistically, you'll need a masters for anything, but a law degree is looked upon really highly, it's a lot of work and employers like it. I'm looking at going into advocacy and rights work with NGOs (hopefully), and it's perfect. If you're interested in anything to do with how the world works and how laws impact the world, it's a lovely course.

First off thanks for the reply! Well done on getting to where you are :) The more I read about the course the more attractive it seems. Is it very difficult ? Like many assignments? Class tests? I am a hard worker but get stressed easily!
