Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know it's terrible timing to say this and it's no reflection on his ability but at the back of my mind there is a nagging as of some one gently rapping, rapping at my brain's door...about Pedro at United/in the PL

Can't understand why the Barca players seem so enthusiastic about this, essentially it's just a trumped up Charity/Community shield

Doesn't it decide which European team goes to the world club finals.

Nope. If it did you'd probably have teams do their best to lose if it meant not going to that mickey mouse tournament.

RTE muppets reading way too much into this

The thing with Pedro getting the winner is that it's hard to tell if the players and staff are congratulating him on the winner or because it's his last game:pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Pedro celebrating with a 'look at me you idiots at Barcelona, you have me on the bench so you can play Messi, Suarez and Neymar. I am the man who get these vitals goals in tight games'...

Thats fair enough. Every foreign player is a risk at this stage it all depends on if he is hungry enough for it.

2 - Pedro has scored two European Super Cup goals, both in extra-time, both in the 115th minute and both winners. Hero.

Well, if wrestling has taught me anything, he'll turn heel by throwing the trophy off the stage and take off his shirt to reveal a United jersey.

Didn't join in the celebrations at the end, definitely leaving

Very muted celebration from Pedro. Stood at the very edge of the group of players and didn't smile.

    On like Donkey Kong.

He was the same last week after that other Mickey Mouse trophy, stood outside the group celebrations.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,159 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Pedro might as well have ripped off the barca jersey to reveal his new red jersey there at the cup presentation, he was that much out of the celebrations.

Everyone else jumped up and down when Iniesta lifted the trophy Pedro just stood there clapping, as we dont have a baseline reading for his actions at other trophy liftings its hard to know :pac:

also Dani Alves tongue was blue when he stuck it out so he has pretty much signed for City :(

He was on the periphery of the celebrations and that didn't look at all pleased about winning

Maybe the keeper has smelly armpits and Pedro is just trying to not get too close

Watch him going up for his medal - he makes a point of stepping out to shake some guys hand - the only one to do it - a "best of luck" gesture or a "thanks for everything" shake

    no

I went in for a shower after my premature statement earlier and now he definitely looks like someone who is off!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,346 ✭✭✭✭homerjay2005

DDG looks like staying and Pedro looks like he is leaving Barca, a good day if both turn out to be true.

get in either a striker and/or a CB before end of the window and it changes alot.

No, I thought he was leaving anyways but just the way he acted post-match I'm a bit more certain of it. Has a bit of the Mourinho at Porto feel about it.

Then a load of players would be injured and unavailable to play because of groin injuries that mysteriously appeared
