Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Chelsea jersey looks ridiculous with the sponsor so high up the chest.

Arsene should trot off down the tunnel now and ring Joses wife.

I'd have given it to Koscielny

If only Arsenal had an actual finisher. The amount of chances they squander is poor.

    Congrats to Arsenal and Arsene.

13th time lucky. Entertaining game, should set us up nicely for the 2 EPL games.

Arsenal defending well this 2nd half too.

    congrats. :)

    Surprised Koscielny didn't get motm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

who did get MOTM? Ox I assume? Even though I'd agree and say Kos, gave neither CF a sniff and stopped a few near post crosses and pull backs, great performance from himself.

Couple of under performers, most notably Cesc and Ozil.

In many ways the lack of Costa could be said to be the difference there but I think that'll be a big confidence boost for Arsenal.

It will be fitness dependent for me (unless they sign competition for Giroud / Coquelin) but Arsenal can be title contenders this year. defensively they look so much more solid now esp with le Coq and Bellerin's emergence and Cech behind the back four as a more reliable calming influence.

Glad for Wenger as well to get the Jose monkey off his back although im sure people will start talking about it in terms of competitive matches now.

    Dzeko off to Roma
Would like to have seen him stay in league and get his chance as a starter.
Good to see Arsene get a victory over Jose.

Ozil was doing plenty from my seat, setting up a good few plays

Mourinho is some man to cause a stir up. Don't know if anyone saw that but he shook all the Arsenal players hands and not Wengers.

And he also threw his losers medal in to the ground can't say i disagree with him on that one , Who would want a losers medal i certainly wouldn't

I thought wenger blanked him and walked behind him on purpose so as not to shake his hand..

Chelsea are extremely dependant on Hazard
If you can keep him quiet you keep Chelsea quiet

Doesnt he always do that? Hasnt he thrown premier league and champions league medals into the crowd before? Seems to be a thing with him.

Most PL teams won't be able to do that but I think they will fail to make an impact on Europe again this season as a result of this. European teams are disciplined enough to be able to keep him quiet.

Are they officially called ''Loser Medals'' stupid name if that's officially whats on medal. Silver medal would be better, or runners up medal.
Why would anyone want to wear a medal with '' LOSER'' on it.

Yep, he threw his first 2 premier league winners medals into the crowd, kept the most recent one for his son apparently.

Cech is a monster signing for Arsenal, and we saw a glimpse of it today.

Real title contenders now thanks to that one move.

I'm not so sure. Still not convinced that they can dig out the 0-1 wins on the road against mid table sides.

    Yeah it's ridiculous.

    Two grown men.

If kids were doing it you'd tell them to cop the fcuk on. Surprised at Wenger. It's normal behaviour for Mourinhio.

I wouldnt shake someones hand who continually disrespected me and talks sh*t about me to the media every chance he gets.

Mourinho is a parody figure since Madrid. The difference is that the English media are dim enough to feed his ego whereas the Spanish media tore him apart. He's a complete embarrassment at this stage. He's not even funny anymore.

Wenger is as bad for giving him the satisfaction of ignoring him.

Football these days is pure Hello magazine. I'm actually bored of the season already. This is the tripe we're going to have to put up with again. Egomanicacs are to think they're bigger or better than the team and the sport.
