Hi, I'm considering purchasing the following TV, but am completely unfamiliar with the smart functionality available with this manufacturer.

I hear that additional products, such as the Panasonic hub, will need to be purchased to access the app store and install further apps and to connect other Android devices via screen mirroring - is this correct?

    Thanks in advance.

    HI VandC,

You are correct that this model will only give access to certain apps, and not android devices etc, as it does not have Firefox OS, or the processor required to do this. Pansonic do sell a smart hub, which I believe may cover this but we don't stock it unfortunately

If you wanted a Panasonic TV that includes this, you would need to look at the 50CX680, at £799 -

This model has Firefox OS etc included as standard, so will give you access to all the apps, internet browser, android control/functionality, and streaming of 4K content from the likes of netflix etc

    Thanks
    Brian
