Not a chance. Shaving doesn't bother me in the slightest just couldn't be arsed. Herself will throw a comment once a wk then I'll shave. I don't have to kiss myself sure!!
Same as that :) between herself and the owl lad , who no matter what's going on a shave is first order of the day

'Does a beard not make you very hot in the summer?'asked the young lad
'No........ It makes you cool all the time'

    I read that recently somewhere.

I've a beard. I've had a beard for 25 years or so. It's pretty long by now :-)

If a fella grew a beard in his 20's and shaved it off in his 60's would he get a fright to see how much he aged since :(

5 pages on shaving it must be raining, about a month here at the moment but if we got one warm day it would be gone, normally one or twice or not a week.must admit dont give a damn what I look like or what is in fashion

I don't trust lads with trimmed designed kinda beards /smigs / goatees , they must have some time on their hands to spend looking in a mirror shaping themselves.

I sometimes shave everyday sometimes it could be weeks, depending on meetings or arrangements etc for work.

I have only ever used a proper razor once and that was when I was about 6 or 7 years old.

since I started to shave 17 or 18 years ago I have used electric rechargeable ones. Think im on my 3rd one and they were about €70 -€100 each

A pack of blades are €10 and do about 4-6 weeks im told. so €80/90 a year
im averaging about €15 a year and can shave on the go
Can you claim razors as an expense for your profession? :)

Full beard here, (puts AP out of his misery). Wife does be on about hipster/hillbilly/ZZ top every 3 or 4 months.:p

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

My turkish barber burns off my nose and ear hair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,191 ✭✭✭uncle_sam_ie

Shave every day. It's become an obsession.
35 Shaving soaps, 9 DE razors, 2 Straight razors, around 2000 DE blades and a dozen aftershave splashes in the shave den.
I'd say I'm ready for shave Apocalypse.

Na. In Ballinasloe. Ya can't beat the turks to give ya a good grooming. I like to get the back of my neck shaved with the cut throat. Irish barbers have got lazy at doing this.

During busy spells I'd often go a week or two without the razor.. A few years ago the winter of the big freeze I went a month without a shave. Frozen water pipes and general hardship..
My girlfriend wasn't happy and demanded I shave.. I will says I, when you shave your pussy..

Poor cat died of hypothermia that night.

Ah I tried again after we got married.. I says to her would ya ever think of shaving downstairs?

Later that day I had to unblock the kitchen sink.

But she looks a lot better without the moustache.

I did that for a while until I realised that I was making a proper balls of it :( Local barber does it now for €9 every 6 weeks, way better job. Unless you are giving yourself a 4 all over or if you were bald on top, it would be easy enough to cut your own then.

shave once a week on average. a twelve year old girl would grow a better beard then me! I look like someone scribbled on me with a nearly wasted marker! beards are cool at the minute, I always went against the crowd!
have nostril hair clipper which comes out when they are long enough to tickle me, think my ears are alright. hair wise anyway.
friend of the Oh is fierce hairy , she reckoned because she used sunbeds so much it burnt away a layer of skin or something! wouldn't mind other than the hair thing she's a cracker!!!
