Depends on what you want, but it should be fine for the likes of GTAV or TW3 on Med-High.

Figuring out what is making it crash may be a better idea, a 2 year old PC isn't ancient.

Are you getting Bluescreens or CTD, reboots or freezes?

And can you post as much detail about your current components as possible.

CPU: AMD fx-6300 (fan came with it)
GPU: Asus Radeon 7870 DirectCU II
RAM: 2 4gb sticks g.skill ripjaws (1 stick faulty and out of pc)
    PSU: Corsair cx 600m
HDD: WD Caviar Green 2tb HDD

The main problem i have with the pc is that randomly while searching the internet the pc will freeze completely with a loud buzzing sound from the speakers and wont work again until it is restarted.

Another recent problem was the pc turning off during games of CS:GO usually when i disconnect from games.

    Any help would be appreciated..

Sounds like your second stick of ram is faulty too, it's still a capable gaming machine.

The CSGO thing could be network related, possibly with drivers.

Can you get a 100% working RAM stick and test it for a bit?

For the CSGO issue, does it happen in other games, and are you using WiFi or ethernet?

Only in CSGO is it? Might be worth trying to test that on ethernet if possible

If its worth it to you, a pair of homeplugs is about €40, they may be worth the investment anyways, faster and more reliable than WiFi.

Hard to tell with that one, could even be the games fault
