Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stoke will most likely target Gomez. Lallana or whomever operators on the left of the advanced 3 will need to provide cover down that wing

Na I'd say he is finishing off decorating the box room for the baby.

Well if the manager wants to go at them fair enough, I can get on board with that. I demand a performance. Revenge please. ****ing stuff them.

    Is Lucas injured?

    Is Lucas injured?

Nope. These are the decisions the manager is entitled to make. If they produce the wins fair enough.

Looks a bit gun ho for me but if it works fair play to Rodgers.

Lovren without a proper DM, at least Rodgers has learned from his mistakes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Bar Lucas we don't have a proper DM so it's strange people are amazed we're not using one.

Team looks fine to me and I'm excited to see how the 4 debuts get on.

This formation has been tried before, made all of our centers half's look ****. Obviously we'll see what it looks like in practice, it's just worrying

Could Can do a job at defensive midfield? Would be off the bench, I know

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

We've never tried it with two high energy holding mids before, Henderson and Milner should cover a lot of ground.

First time in over a year we've had a fit, top goalscorer starting for us.

Stoke fans are pretty hostile, aren't they?

Do they think they have a rivalry with Liverpool or something?

Hopefully Johnson will continue his form from last season.

Harsh yellow for Affelay I'd say. No intent at all there, just a bit awkward.

Intent is irrelevant for a high boot.

Also lol at Stoke fans booing Clyne for getting a boot in the chest

    Positive signs.

We're so hesitant to go direct when a run is made. Clyne and Milner already ignored.

I see Liverpool are a part of another new record.

This is the 1st time a premier league game has taken place were it is the same two teams in the same ground back to back

At least they'll get something this season.

Benteke can sure hold up the ball. That's going be very useful for us.

The latter time it opened up a load of space out wide for Ibe.
A run isn't just for getting space to receive the ball.

Bot of a slow start for both teams so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    I hate Stoke fans.

They think they're making it a 'cauldron' with all the booing and contesting every decision, but it just comes across as altogether small time.

It's a bit meh at the moment...nothing really coming off for either team.

And with the same referee in both games!!

Lovern header was strong and assertive. Fingers crossed.

What was the sustained applause for at 13 minutes?

Lads where's sakho? He was playing in a pre season friendly last week. Has he been dropped?

    Poor touch from Milner

Be nice to think we could threaten from corners this year. Last season we would have better off saving time and just giving the ball back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

    Pace picking up now

Coutinho doing his annoying thing again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Coutinho needs to occasionally look up in those situations.
