Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leicester have been very poor so far today too. Goal really against the run of play.

All good so far for leicester.

Palace look pretty crap imo. Just wingers running down blind alleys. There's no focal point for their attacks and adebayor playing is like playing a man down half the time.

Leicester beating what's in front of them. Can't blame them for staying in low gear, no need for anything else

Is it not said, that it's a sign of champions that they can pick up points while not playing well. :P

(note: said hoping that Leicester go on to win today and become champions)

Lot of pressure today on Norwich as well. 0-0 away to West Brom at the moment. I think they'll go down in the end myself but a win today would big a big boost.

How did Cissokho not get his walking papers just then? A nailed on yellow card, and he'd already been booked. Should be off the pitch now. And risible 'keeping and defending by Guzan and Hutton for the Swansea goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

Come on Swansea, just the one more goal please. I need the points for the predictions league.

Big day down the bottom, Newcastle play Norwich with both sides needing max points. Sunderland play WBA so chance at picking up something there, while it'll be hard to see Palace pick up anything at West Ham

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,848 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

You would think that today of all days against an injury hit Chelsea side that Villa would at least play with a bit of heart and passion. Terrible side, no fight or desire in them and every ball is played in hope rather then purpose. I know their fate is sealed but it doesn't excuse the players not trying for the fans and for their own self respect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,259 ✭✭✭HalloweenJack

This is the first time I've seen Villa play in a long time.

I had not realised how bad they are. No fight whatsoever, look like they've eleven 17-year-old debutants out there. I've watched a lot of Chelsea this year and we've been terrible but today we haven't even had to work. I can not remember such a lifeless side in the PL, completely devoid of any motivation or desire.

This is the exact kind of game we tend to lose, or at least fail to win. Team and manager in desperate need of a win and Adebayor in the side who always seems to do well against us. We really should win but I'm not confident.

This isn't exact kinda West Ham anybody is used to either!

Arsenal game is on Setanta Ireland which is free if you have UPC. Has this been happening all season and I haven't been aware? Could have sworn it's usually Setanta sports 1 usually???

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Awful defending for Arsenal's goal, no pressure on the cross no effort to challenge the header and no effort to be first to the parry. Watford on FA Cup holidays...

Palace really had to keep that out for 5 minutes 1-1

    City cruising 3-0

The difference De Bruyne makes to that City team is staggering. His injury probably cost them their title bid.

Yep; injuries have been cruel to us this season. Just about all of our major players have missed chunks of games; Silva, Kun, Kev, Kompany, Hart, Zabba, Delph, Nasri. It's been ridiculous.
