Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This game is nuts. The shape of the game has collapsed. Can't stop watching.

Gabriel is garbage, seriously one of the worst centre backs in the league.

That's not even close to being true.

3-3 ft zinger of a game

Man Utd will be delighted with that too. West Ham looked dead on their feet at the end. They put a lot into it.

All the big games with relegation implications this weekend, and Setanta pick Swansea-Chelsea

Surely viewing figures would be better for an important game? There's not even much of a fanbase for Chelsea in Ireland.

It's frustrating but I think since they joined up with BT they have to follow the rules of each team being shown throughout the season

Shows how far we've come under Bilic that in recent times we've come away from games against Man City at home, Chelsea at the Bridge, Man Utd in OT and Arsenal at home absolutely gutted with just a point. And 3 of those games were heavily influenced by atrocious officiating.
How Noble and Cresswell haven't been considered for the England squad is beyond me.

Newcastle (seemingly) going down without a fight. Bizarre, given what's at stake re. the new megabucks TV deal next season.

Yeah, Newcastle going down is all Rafa's fault.

I never said that,I was just merely admiring how good of a job he's done so far.

One of the best things about this thread is that it has been completely free of the United-Liverpool bollocks. So if you could take your crap somewhere else, that'd be great.

"From now on we make our own luck" - Mike Ashley 2015

    - £80m spent on midfielders before addressing defensive issues.
    - No recognised striker brought in.

I said over in the Newcastle superthread that if the Championship is the catalyst for Ashley to fúck off then I'll take it. Won't be happy about it but I might actually enjoy a well run club with hungry players who want to fight for their place.

They are fúcking cowards. Mitrovic and Perez are probably the only two I'd keep but they'll be snapped up relatively quickly when we go down.

    Southampton v Newcastle

Over 2.5 goals is the bet of the weekend @ 4/5

We can't defend and Southampton love scoring against us. Lump on I say. If I have to endure this shít, I'll at least want to make some money off it.

    You're welcome internet.

Rafa was the subject of the exchange. Isn't his team playing today. For what it's worth, I'm a united fan.

DeBruyne is one of the most intelligent footballers around, great player.

Going to go for a 4-1 win to sunderland for no reason whatsoever.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Go on Big Sam LOL!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Brady was overly aggressive there tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

The Mackems looking very ropey at the back. How Kaboul is earning a (presumably decent) living as a PL footballer is beyond me. The bloke is a liability.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

    Yep that's a peno.

Well struck Borini, biting the hand that feeds you.

Not sure what the Norwich fans are upset about; penalty all day long. Crazy tackle by Wisdom.

Chris Sutton maintaining that was never a penalty and a really harsh decision. Such muppetry should see him not brought back as a pundit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    2-0 Sunderland. Defoe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,790 ✭✭✭Bret Hart

    3-0 Sunderland. Watmore.

    Norwich 0 - 3 Sunderland

Norwich look doomed from here, but Newcastle will take some hope if they beat Swansea who could be coasting from here on.

Great result for Sunderland but Newcastle will still stay up ahead of Sunderland and Norwich. They'll win today and kick on from there with some more very winnable games to come.
